Coronavirus COVID-19


I'm ready for you...are you ready for me?

While I am very excited to be able to support you in person after this COVID 19 lockdown, it is only natural that you might have one or two concerns about resuming close contact with someone outside of your household.


As such, I would like to start by letting you know some of the measures I have put in place to help protect your health and wellbeing at this time:

  • I am following guidelines issued by the government, NHS and my professional association, the Federation of Holistic Therapists, regarding safe and hygienic practice and the use of any personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • I have carried out a full risk assessment of my therapy business to reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus (COVID-19).

  • I have completed a certified infection control course and introduced enhanced cleaning and hygiene procedures to my practice.

  • When I return to providing treatments in person, I will be closely monitoring my own health, and that of my clients, to ensure neither party is put at risk of contracting COVID-19.

There will be small changes to your appointment, the following will be introduced on arrival before your treatment:

  • Bring your own water bottle

  • Mask – please bring your own or I can provide a disposable one

  • Hands to be sanitized on arrival

The precautions I shall be taking:

  • I will be leaving 30 minutes in-between each treatment to sterilize my workspace and entrance/exit i.e. door handles, seats, desk etc. and change PPE in between customers.  This will help to avoid interaction between leaving and arriving customers, to allow airborne droplets to fall, to allow aeration of the premises, and to allow time for extra cleaning measures.  Therefore, to benefit from maximum time for your treatment, please arrive on time.  If you are early, please wait inside your car.

  • Cotton towels will be replaced by paper towels/sheets. 

  • As I will be taking my temperature daily. I would also request you to do the same if you can, otherwise I will have a thermometer in the clinic for you to use.

This is all new and I appreciate your help in making treatments run smoothly and safely.  To keep contact to a minimum, payment in advance is appreciated by bank transfer, the details of which I will share on confirmation of your appointment.  Alternatively, you can pay by contactless card reader devise.

At the time of booking, over the phone, we will complete the coronavirus (COVID-19) initial triage assessment. As a formality, I will be asking whether you or anyone you know has been in contact or has experienced any of the following symptom’s:

  • Dry cough

  • Temperature/fever

  • Loss of taste or smell

  • Unusual tiredness

  • Sore throat Running nose

  • Shortness of breath/difficulty breathing

  • Nausea

If you have any questions or you would like to discuss your appointment, please do not hesitate to get in touch. It is very important to me that you feel comfortable prior to your treatment, so please feel free to ask me anything, no matter how small.

I am confident with these new safety measures in place, following the guidelines of my governing body FHT than I can maintain a safe environment, and I hope this information has installed confidence in you as well, so that we may continue with beneficial treatments for mind, body and spirit in this ever-evolving world we live in!
